Europa Prefabri will take part in the Master Mutua Madrid Tennis Open once again

Our company will supply prefabricated modules and modular kiosks for the event in its 2018 edition.

Madrid Trophy Promotion, S.L. has once again placed its trust in Europa Prefabri for the supply of portable modular kiosks. The Master Mutua Madrid Tennis Open will take place from the 4th to the 13th May at the Caja Magica venue in Madrid, one of the most modern tennis facilities in the world.

On this occasion, we will supply and install two portable modular kiosks, dimensions 6.00m and 4.00m. These special modules have folding doors on the front and an internal counter designed to use as a ticket office. The structure and the sandwich panels will be painted in corporate blue, using a special paint. Europa Prefabri will also supply 6.00m portable cabins for the television channels that will broadcast the tournament, as well as a as a 2.40 m security guard cabin.

The Master Mutua Madrid Open will bring together once again the world’s tennis stars and the 2018 edition will be the fifth consecutive one in which the organization trusts Europa Prefabri for the installation of portable cabins.

Repsol awards Europa Prefabri for the supply of portable cabins for its technical shutdown

Europa Prefabri has been awarded the bid for the supply of portacabin for the technical shutdown of the Industrial Complex of Repsol Petróleo in Puertollano (Ciudad Real) in 2018.

Europa Prefabri will provide Repsol with the necessary personnel and resources for the installation of eight 6.00 x 2.40 m portable cabins. The portable cabins are equipped with air conditioning with heat pump and will be used for dining facilities and offices at Repsol’s installations.

Works are scheduled to start in April this year. The portable cabins will be installed according to Repsol’s needs in each of the units that are operated on during the shutdown.

This year, Repsol shutdown will last 2 months and will allow the company to carry out inspection and maintenance works on more than a thousand units. With this shutdown, Repsol will also improve its energy efficiency. To this end, Europa Prefabri will provide portable offices equipped with furniture (office and meeting tables and chairs, filing cabinets, shelves, blackboards, litter bins, etc.), as well dining portable cabins, that come with a dining table and benches.

For events like this, our prefabricated portacabin are the ideal solution thanks to its fast assembly and space efficiency. The versatility of our portable cabins allows us to create spaces adapted to each project requirements, by its attachment in line or in height, quickly and easily.

Security Portable Cabin for a photovoltaic power plant I Europa Prefabri

Europa Prefabri Group has carried out a new modular construction project applied to industrial solutions in Valencia. On this occasion, we installed two security portable cabins that will be used by the engineers of this photovoltaic plant to monitor the operation and production of the solar panels of the plant.

Our prefabricated solutions are ideal for this type of usages, given the advantages they offer with regard to traditional construction: logistical ease, quick installation of the structures, the minimal need of civil works and the modulation of spaces.

In this case, each of the security portable cabins is composed of a set of modules formed by two prefabricated diaphanous modules assembled. We used modules of 6,00×2,35m so the surface of each portable cabin goes up to 30m2. The security cabins are divided into two distinct areas: a working area for the engineers and a storage area for materials and control devices, which are connected by a sliding door. In the storage area, the floor structure has been reinforced to support a maximum load of 1200kg/m2 uniformly distributed. The modules were installed directly by Europa Prefabri with two technicians on site.

Technical specifications of the project: Security Portable Cabins for a photovoltaic power plant

Floor structure

The floor structure frame is formed by 2 vertical and 2 horizontal galvanized sheet profiles mm shaped in cold. There are OMEGA galvanized steel straps placed transversally achieving major stability supporting vibrations and heavy load. These straps support a water resistant phenolic plywood of 18mm thickness covered with grey PVC vinyl covering.

The floor structure described supports up to 250 kg/m2 uniformly distributed. We reinforced the floor structure in the storage area to a maximum load of 1200kg/m2.

Roof structure

The roof structure is formed by 2 vertical and 2 horizontal galvanized profiles shaped in cold. There are OMEGA galvanized steel straps placed transversally. These Omega steel straps support a trapezoidal galvanized metal sheet of 0.6mm thickness.

Columns

The columns are formed by asymmetric galvanized steel profiles shaped in cold of 2.00mm thickness. The columns are screwed to the floor structure and roof structure using special screws. There is a round PVC pipe with the diameter of 75mm serving as a gutter hidden in the interior of the column. The column is finished on its interior with a lacquered sheet that fastens the electrical mechanisms, plugs, switches and electric protection panel.

Side walls

The lateral closure is composed of sandwich panels, of 40 mm thickness. These sandwich panels are made of a two sided lacquered sheet on a galvanized base and count with intermediate thermal and acoustic isolation. In terms of fire resistance, this kind of panel has been classified as M2 material, which means it is highly fire resistant. It has been proven to be highly resistant to water, remaining unalterable over time.

False ceiling

The false ceiling is formed by galvanized and pre-lacquered metallic blades in white silicone polyester (0.5mm thickness). Between the false ceiling and the roof plate is placed an 80mm insulation fiberglass blade with vapour barriers.

The internal free height of these modules is 2.475 mm.

External and internal carpentry

The external and internal carpentry of the security portable cabins is manufactured in PVC or aluminium profiles lacquered in white.

The named carpentry consists of:

  • Exterior door 815x2060mm with a handle and a lock.
  • Interior sliding door 1200x2300mm with a handle.
  • White PVC 2 wing sliding window 815x1045mm.
  • White WC window 1 wing 815x500mm.
  • White PVC 2 wing sliding window

Electrical installation

The electrical installation system is complete except for the electrical line up to the location of the module. All the electrical system and installations are adapted to the safety requirements.

Electrical supply is connected to the electrical box with an independent protection via magneto-thermal switches and switches necessary for lighting, emergency devices (in case of having ones), air conditioning and other uses. The box is protected against the direct and indirect contacts, over current or short circuit:

  • Waterproof lights with diffuser 2x36W
  • Oval Outdoor Wall Light 60w
  • Plug entries 16A+TT (when placed in the bathrooms these are waterproof)
  • Surface switches of 10A+TT

In addition, we carried out the complete installation of voice and data supplies for the security portable cabins.

Portable cabins rental: agreement with the Spanish Employment Agency of Madrid

Europa Prefabri, a group of companies with more than 30 years of experience in the area of modular construction and design, manufacture and installing of parking canopies, has reached an agreement for the supply of portable cabins with the Official Employment Agency of Madrid’s Community. This is a two year-term contract and has a value of 300.000 euro.

We include some pictures of our prefabricated shelters installed in the Feria de Málaga 2016 (Mágala’s Fair). We have provided more than 50 modules for different uses at the Fairground Cortijo de Torres (next to the Congress Hall of Málaga), which is the neuralgic center for events.

The Feria de Málaga is also known as the “Fair of the South of Europe”.

Europa Prefabri continues being the leader enterprise within the sector of modular construction and portacabins at Málaga.

MINING PROJECTS IN PERU

Last few months we have executed through our subsidiary company in Peru several projects of modular offices and bedrooms made ​​from prefabricated modules installed in different mining projects in Peru such as Contonga or Raura mines. Right now we are developing more projects in other mines of this country whose mining sector is one of the most important in the world.

Our clients are important contractors working in the mines and have chosen our modules because of the easy transportation as Flat-Pack which reduces the costs of transportation and installation respect other systems as well as our insulating sandwich polyurethane panels that provide a thermal insulation much higher than other types of panels which is very important in this type of projects located in remote areas at 5000 meters above sea level with extreme temperatures.

Portacabin to Peru

For the last few months we supplied 10 containers with flat pack modules to our distributor in Peru.

During january cabins have been assembled in the company’s plant near Lima.

There are now  being rented to differnt companies in this country.

Modular offices in Senegal

Last month we have assembled these modular offices in Senegal. Our client is one of most important french contruction companies who is developing some projects in the country and they will use our portacabin as temporary offices.

Prefabricated cabins have been sent as flat pack inside to marine containers and we have done the assembly with some of our technicians.
